Program Description
National Latina Health Network (NLHN) in collaboration with AARP and other national partners is educating and enrolling low-income Medicare beneficiaries in the appropriate Medicare Prescription Drug Discount Card program. Eligible recipients can receive up to a $600.00 RX benefit. NLHN has trained network members as “NLHN Medicare RX Benefits Educators and Counselors.”

Participating Cities
NLHN Medicare RX Benefits Educators and Counselors provided information in New York City, Washington DC, Boston, Miami, Chicago, Philadelphia and California.

Medicare Modernization Act in effect January 2006
